Our Founders
Bill Palmer is a seasoned leader, entrepreneur and agent of transformation. After thirty years in senior roles in Systems Integrators and Independent Software Vendors from Oracle to IBM (a period that Bill refers to as his apprenticeship) Bill is now one of the founders and Co-CEO of Consentricare, a British company that delivers a mobile engagement platform for enterprise communications, wellbeing and compliance as a service.
Bill says this of GDH: “I am very proud to be the first chair of this great new venture, a public-private initiative that seeks to lead the debate around digital health and to give a voice and a place to be for innovators, entrepreneurs, established enterprises and new that want to make a difference in the market. Consentricare’s corporate mantra is “we help you care” and GDH fits perfectly with our ethos.”

Chris who is the Head of the Economy & Innovation at Guildford Borough Council has over thirty years’ experience in international contracting, export development, inward investment and developing and delivering economic strategies. He has worked in the City in financial services, at BOC in Guildford and the Department of International Trade.
He is passionate about developing local clusters and helping make connections between businesses and originally commissioned the research that identified the opportunity highlighting the range of digital healthcare assets locally.
Chris says: ‘I am delighted to be on the advisory team for the GDHH and through funding from Guildford Borough Council helping to sponsor the launch activities. I am convinced that this sector has the potential to grow and provide excellent networking and commercial/technology partnership opportunities.

Andy has been a banker to start ups, business, commercial and corporate clients for over 35 years and undertook many senior leadership roles at a major high street bank. He is Chartered Banker with a distinction in risk, regulation and ethics and holds the Diploma in Financial Services Leadership with special interests in change and leadership styles.
Andy is the Champion Director for Business South, a not for profit social enterprise that through its unique Business Champion Programme connects business leaders around an agenda to promote the Place, People and Prosperity. He runs his own consultancy business AS Consultants for Business Limited and is currently the seconded Banker in Residence at the Enterprise M3 Local Enterprise Partnership.

Dr Sarah Campbell, CEO, game designer and psychologist, is the brains behind the games at Play Well for Life. Creating innovative tools that develop and measure the skills enabling organisations and their people to lead happier, healthier lives, Sarah's vision is to provide a better way to educate, train and develop people.
Sarah has created a dynamic team behind her, pioneering Augmented Reality healthcare interventions, and understands the nuances and challenges facing start ups and those working in education and healthcare.

Roya Croudace has over 25 years’ experience working in start-ups, scale ups and blue-chip corporations. As Growth Hub Director for the EM3 Enterprise Roya supported hundreds of business to accelerate, scale up and thrive. Roya has an extensive track record bringing entrepreneurs, finance and local authorities together to generate business growth. She has been at the forefront of the CBILS scheme and new launch of the Recovery finance. More recently she has taken on the role of Non-Executive Director at the KTN (Knowledge Transfer Network), a national organisation funded by Government and Innovate UK to accelerate UK key sector collaboration and cross fertilisation. She has been a champion for growing local sectors including Digital health and Gaming and driving opportunities.
She is also Director of Rovi Pay, an online smart payment and itinery platform linked to open banking to support retail, ecommerce and hospitality sectors to utilise technology to help them accelerate recovery, become covid secure and increase productivity. Roya is a Director of the Guildford Digital Health Group, founder of Silicon Drinkabout Guildford with 800 members from the local Tech community and has her own consultancy , Alloy Business Innovation Ltd utilising her vast experience in the business world, her enviable connections and sales/marketing skills to accelerate bounce back post lockdown for SMES.

Our job, day to day, is to work with organisations that want a go-to team, with a varied skill set, that can help them sort out:

•how they facilitate engagement with those people, and
•how they measure success
•We do this mainly on screens - although we do the odd bit of print every now and then.

Rachel is passionate about collaboration. Working within the Innovation Strategy team at the University of Surrey, Rachel develops Strategic Partnerships; connecting academics with industry, government, the third sector and investors to explore opportunities for innovative research with real-world benefit.
Rachel’s sector focus is health, with a broad remit spanning the spectrum of One Health – health of peåople, animals and their shared environment - with an emphasis on Digital Health.

As the creator of Guildford.Games and a founding member of Guildford Games Festival, Sam will apply his cluster development experience towards the ambitions of our GDH network. His work with the Department for International Trade has identified the intersection of healthcare and immersive technology as one of high potential opportunity.

Partner at law firm Charles Russell Speechlys, Noel advises a wide range of healthcare clients, in particular pharmacists and dentists.
He has particular expertise advising pharmacists and pharmacy owners on the complex rules relating to NHS market entry and market exit, including conducting advocacy at NHS Litigation Authority appeal hearings.
Noel also acts for clients in the pharmaceuticals industry, with particular expertise on "close to market" regulation. Noel has a particular experience advising clients operating online prescribing and medicines supply websites.
